Teacher Moon（主任講師）

Teacher Moon is a degree holder in Bachelor of Arts in Values Education. She is a licensed Callan teacher.  The Callan Method is a fast, fun and effective way to master  a language. It focuses on the learner’s speaking skill in a way that they can think and speak in the new language. She is also a certified Jolly Phonics Teacher. Jolly Phonics is a fun and child centered approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi-sensory method is very motivating for children. She also has a certification in TESOL and is currently doing seminars online for other aspiring teachers. She has been in the esl world for more than five years. She has started her teaching experience as an intern teacher in a kindergarten and a volunteer teacher on Sundays for kids and adults way back in 2010. 

She believes that teachers should teach learners how to think, learn and work. 

She believes that students have different ways to learn something which include visual, spatial, aural, verbal, physical, logical, social, solitary, etc. that is why her method of teaching varies in order to cater to their different learning abilities. 

Her teaching methods for kids include learning through singing, dancing, repetition and having fun in class. Younger kids are given the opportunity to learn without pressure because she believes that happy kids equal growing kids. Our activities  are  `great for Language and Vocabulary Development, Hand-Eye Coordination, Fine Motor Skills, Sensory Play and Imaginative Play, Problem Solving, Emotional Development, Trial & Error, Visual Perception and Cognitive Development.` (Happy Toddler Playtime)

Students’ skills and talents are also enhanced, encouraged and shown in classes and during special events. 

Her purpose is to see her students learn, grow and thrive wherever they go.  Her teaching motto is: `If you stop learning today, you stop teaching tomorrow.` For this reason, she believes that a teacher should continually learn and grow.
